HidraFacial
To exfoliate and hydrate your skin.
Everything on this site is general information and does not replace an in-person consultation.
The HidraFacial is a deep facial cleanse using hydradermabrasion equipment. In one session it cleanses, exfoliates, clears the pores by suction and leaves the skin hydrated with serums applied at the end. No needles, nothing that hurts, and nothing that marks the skin.
At the consultation the doctor looks at your skin, your history and what you want to achieve, and that is where it gets decided whether this treatment is the right one, whether another one suits you better, or whether it is worth waiting. If what you are expecting is not realistic, she will tell you.
What it addresses
- Dull skin or uneven texture
- Clogged pores and blackheads
- Dehydrated skin
Who it is for
It suits almost any skin type at any age, and it is a good first step if you have never had anything done. Many people book it before an event because it leaves no downtime.
The doctor lists no contraindications for this treatment: she considers every patient a candidate.
What the appointment involves
01
Assessment and cleanse
The doctor looks at your skin and decides which serums to use. Makeup comes off and the face is cleansed completely.
02
Exfoliation and extraction
The handpiece exfoliates the surface layer and, with suction, draws oil and debris out of the pores. It feels like a damp tickle rather than anything painful.
03
Hydration
Hydrating and antioxidant serums go into the now-clean skin, finishing with sunscreen. You leave ready to carry on with your day.
Frequently asked questions
How often should I have one?
Show answer / Hide answer
It depends on your skin and what you are trying to maintain. The doctor will tell you at the consultation — some people come monthly, others only before something that matters.
Can I wear makeup the same day?
Show answer / Hide answer
Yes. There is no downtime: the skin may look a little pink for a while and then settles. What is worth doing is wearing sunscreen afterwards.
